For the site and the quality, acceptable.
This last Sunday was open.
Thank you very much 👍👍👍😉
Does not admit table reservations. They only serve tapas, measure ration and ration. It's a tavern with small tables.
The price is right!
It's an amazing place. In a crowded room with huge concrete barrels around you get excellent tapas, wine and extra cold beer. What can you ask more? Love it!
Great local tapas bar, very cheap drinks. Busy lively place. Efficient friendly staff
Love this place. Fantastic food and great prices. The waiter recommended several dishes to compliment the ones we ordered. Friendly and helpful staff. Foodies heaven!
Half decent tapas bar. This place seemed pretty hyped online based on our research, so thought we had to give it a try. Only managed to make it here for our last meal and must say it left us ever so slightly disappointed. Much slower service compared to other tapas bar visited. Maybe we were here on a off day (Monday afternoon 3pm - Siesta time maybe?) The sirloin in cream sauce, cuttlefish balls, croquettes, octopus (main) was average but nice. The sweet Sherry was nice too for what its worth. Pricier than other restaurants around. Disappointed with the padron peppers - would not recommend this. Not sure I would return or recommend this place. We had lovely meals and lovelier tapas bars around the corner from this place.
Good quality local tapas as a family run place with a lot of history. We had the Artichoke salad, meatballs, beef sirloin, pork cheek and sardines. Value was good and service was efficient.
Nice small traditional place. Nice cerveza and tapas
A great local atmosphere with efficient service. The range of sherry's here is not to be beaten. Did not try the food but it as packed with locals so it must be good. If you want to try Sherry, this is the place to go.
Would 10/10 recommend the oxtail stew. Was really good and the service was great too!
Located very near Real Alcazar. This place is also considered as historical cafe built quite some time ago. There are 2 unit divided by the cashier and kitchen. One facing the corner of the road and the other is having big barrels inside, which is more spacious. Its kinda self service restaurant where u pick the food by yourself.Pros: wine is cheap and good. Tapas is also good and relatively cheap considering the portionCons: pay attention and check the bill before you pay! I found there were few items that we didn’t order included in our bill.Opinion: recommended to try if ur near by
Been waiting all day and these guy know how to do it right! The bartender was also excellent 👌
Mind blowing amazing tapas. I tried their sangre encebolla, which is pig's blood. Don't expect the service to be top notch as the brisk, no frills service is typical across these tapas bars in Spain. Just be a little persistent, and you'll catch the attention of a busy server. Don't forget to try orange wine if they have it. Come early to grab a spot at the bar.
Loved it! This place is a great experience. It's very chaotic and can be intimidating, but once you get over that, it's all part of the charm. The waiters behind the bar were incredibly friendly and spoke to us in English, helping us with the menu. The pork cheek stew was to die for!
Now this is the Tapa bar you have been looking for in Seville. Local, Central and has the locals in. All the elements that add up to a quality location. Two bar areas, choose the one with the oil vats. Tapa of the day is a good way to start. The vino of the house is decent at a €1! Closes at 4pm but don't worry it opens again for the evening. Don't walk past!
Nice spot! Came here specifically for the sherry wine which they are known for. Had both the dry and sweet white wines. Both very tasty, with an after taste similar to a mild sake after taste. Waitress was really sweet to us American tourists. And was patient in explaining things to us. We ordered manchengo (sp?) Cheese which paired very well with the wine.Price for all things was less than 15 euro. Such a steal.Oh and come early, it fills up fast here. We were standing at the bar for our meal.
Casa Morales is a proper traditional Spanish bar, going there makes you get the real feel of Spanish culture and traditions. They serve really good tapas, and a local beer Cruzcampo! Definitely visit this place if you're into local places. Friendly staff.
Not bad. The pavita bacalao (fish fried in some dough) was surprisingly good
Classic tapas bar! Staff was very friendly and understood English. There is also a menu in English if you ask for it. Pork cheek was amazing!
This is ‘the’ place. Fantastic Tapas (try the amazing smokey papas bravas) great wines and Vermút Casa. One of the barmen even gave me a quick Spanish lesson. Sit in the rear for a vibrant ‘seared’ tapas experience or go int o the ‘front bar’ and jostle for a stool or stay sanding in the wonderful atmosphere. A great place. We went twice during our week in beautiful Sevilla and shall return.
Great earthy atmosphere, cheap tapas and drinks and a mix of locals and tourists. Been here twice and was impressed both times. Good place for a solo traveller like me to visit as there's a good chance you'll bump into other English speakers. Deserves to be popular.
Fantastic place to catch up with friends and enjoy a couple of drinks.
Excellent. Many locals. If you don’t know Spanish you may need help. Lunch very crowded. You need to just wait for a space! Worth it.
Somehow not as kitschy as it seems. Tough to find a table as there's no real system but as far as standard affair tapas goes they were pretty good.
This place was heaving, but with good reason. The food was good and there were plenty of wines on offer. Definitely go here if you're looking for an authentic experience.
A nice place for wine and tapas.
Great tapas bar right next to the cathedral to stop and get a few dishes and some wine to recharge.
Authentic local experience, among the best in Seville. Amazing food for quick bites, great atmosphere, exceptional service. A must see destination when in Seville. Perfect for small meals and drinks.
By far the most authentic tapas place, recommended by our Sevillano host. Incredibly humble, kind and welcoming service.
Quite busy place but recommended by local so we gave it a try. Nice tapas and very funny employees. Service takes a bit long.
We went on the first day in Sevilla and came back for more throughout our stay. Absolutely amazing food and service! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to the language barriers! Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Sevilla.
I spent 2 weeks in Spain and this was probably my favourite restaurant (if that's what you would call it) among the various places we dined in. Casa Morales as a really authentic vibe about it, especially with the huge jars lining the walls of the place. Food was good, very reasonably priced, and accompanied with good service. Not being a native Spanish speaker, they were very accommodating to me and Google Translate!
Traditional place for eating tapas and drinking cañas. Get there earlier than the opening hour because it gets packed shortly after opening, there is also a room in the back where it is often less crowded and you can access it through another door on the side
Good prices but the food is nothing special. Was busy when we went and we had to stand up to eat. We tried moving to a table when it became available but the waiter moved us off, in favour of a Spanish couple that had just arrived. Service did not come with a smile.
Very friendly, great food. Asked bartender for his favorites, brought out things not on the menu. Pork cheek in stew gravy and fried baby squid in oil and pesto. Pork might be the most favorite dish I’ve had on the whole trip.
I love this place and the tapas. The house red wine is served cold and is delightful.
Cannot go wrong with any tapas. Food to die for. A must if in Seville 😎
Even though you think it's a tourist trap being so well known and close to the cathedral , I thought the food was fantastic and priced so well. Staff were fast and friendly. It was lunch so maybe that makes a difference , I've been in others that aren't perceived as tourist traps that have been much worse so I think casa Morales is a pretty special place.
Best local bar, the real authentic Spanish barsWide wine collection, lots of tapas to choose from, old authentic vibe in the airAnd prices are greatTotally recommend it#bestcitiestovisit
Food was pretty good and staff was helpful
The nice thing here was the staff let you speak Spanish without reverting to English. Next to the cathedral but one of the few places I didn't see tourists. Tasty, albeit bony, fatty & gelatinous cola de toro - suspect that's the dish. Warm not hot as universal in Seville. Staff treading a thin line between irony & dismissiveness. Pleasant ?manager.
